Kirk Averitt

Kirk Averitt is a conductor, vocalist, and educator with extensive experience leading choirs and developing vocal programs. He serves as Director of the Vocal Arts and Popular Music Conservatories at California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley and is Music Director for both the Chancel Choir at Church of the Good Shepherd and the Arroyo Singers. Previously, he directed choral music at Beaver Country Day School and served as Music Director at The Congregational Church of Weston in the Boston area. An active performer, he has sung with C3LA, Choral Arts Initiative, Quartz Ensemble, The Resonance Collective, and Voices of Christmas. He holds an MM in Choral Conducting from UMass Amherst and a BA in Vocal Music Education from Lipscomb University.
