Baritone Sam Garcia is a Los Angeles based choral artist, studio singer, and actor at home in the worlds of classical music and vocal jazz. He currently sings with several choirs in the Los Angeles area including Tonality and Terpsichor as well as taking part in vocal sessions for Marvel, Disney, and Netflix as a SAG-AFTRA member. Sam was recently a featured vocalist in Carla Patullo’s new musical “The Hurricane” and has also appeared as Sargent Belcore in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and Count Capulet in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette. Other past roles include the Beast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, J.D. in Heathers the Musical, and originating the role of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Glenn Pickett’s Dietrich and Maria. Sam also had the opportunity to perform in the Angel Chorus for Randy Newman’s Faust at the Soraya Center for the Performing Arts and sing in the choir for the 5th Annual SCL Awards. Sam received his Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from California Baptist University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in leadership development from Chapman University; he currently studies voice under the direction of Fred Carama and has studied conducting under Dr. Gene Peterson.
