Zachary Lindquist

Zachary Lindquist is a conductor, educator, and vocalist from Chanhassen, Minnesota. He currently teaches at Fullerton College, where he directs the auditioned Concert Choir and Tenor-Bass Ensemble, and teaches courses in ear training and musicianship. Lindquist will also teach Conducting and the Singing Titans at California State University, Fullerton in Spring of 2026. In addition to his collegiate teaching, he serves as the Director of the Advanced Chorus with the Emmy Award-winning Southern California Children's Chorus. An active clinician and coach throughout Southern California, he was the guest conductor for the Southern California Vocal Association’s Mixed Close Harmony Festival in 2022. As a performer, Lindquist is a Staff Singer for the Grammy Award-winning Pacific Chorale under the direction of Dr. Robert Istad. He is also the 2018 District Champion of the Land o’ Lakes District of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) with his quartet, Hi-Mark.

Lindquist holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Michigan State University. He has studied conducting with Dr. Robert Istad, Dr. Jonathan Reed, and Dr. Sandra Snow, and voice with Dr. Mark Goodrich and the late Prof. Peter Lightfoot.
